We take the health and safety of our students seriously, as Amai Mugabe Group of Schools serves as another home away from home. The following provides an overview of our Health Service response policy.

Accidents and Illness Management

First Aid and Emergency Response
  • Trained staff members will promptly administer first aid for minor injuries. In case of serious accidents or illnesses, emergency medical services will be contacted immediately. Parents or guardians will be notified promptly about any medical incidents.
24-Hour Access to Medical Assistance
  • The school clinic is staffed 24/7 to attend to students’ health needs. Boarders can seek medical assistance at any time.
Health Support Needs
  • Students with specific health conditions (e.g., allergies, chronic illnesses) must have individualized health plans. Any condition should be made known at enrolment. These plans will outline necessary precautions, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
Medication Management
  • We follow proper procedures for storing and administering medication. Parents or guardians must provide written consent for medication administration.
Nutrition and Well-Being
  • The school cafeteria provides nutritious meals. Dietary requirements and allergies will be considered.
Health Documentation
  • Accurate records will be maintained for each student. These records will include medical history, emergency contacts, and health-related incidents.
